Sanibel, Florida is a small city located on Sanibel Island in our southern Florida area. It has a small population of about 6,700 people, and iMold is proud to be a contributing member of the community here. Sanibel is quite the special town, loved by its residents and the many tourists and beachgoers who come to visit all of the time. The north shore and
One thing that makes our Sanibel community special is all of the natural beauty. In addition to the beaches there are the beautiful wildlife refuges that both protect our local flora and fauna, and also allow visitors to enjoy these areas, and hopefully will for generations to come. Go to J. N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge to catch a view of some spoonbills, pelicans and egrets, or simply to marvel at the swampy mangrove channels. However, watch out for alligators! There is even rumored to be a rare American crocodile living in the waters there.
Of course, guests to the island city will not want to miss the quaint Bailey-Matthews Seashell Museum, the only museum in the entire world that is completely dedicated to seashells! Sanibel is a fitting place for this museum because it is one of the best places around the globe to find amazing shells which wash up onto the shores of the barrier island. Collectors of sand dollars, scallops and whelks will find plentiful specimens to add to their shell collections.
As you know, all of South Florida is very susceptible to mold, which is why we here at iMold are happy to be part of the Sanibel community, and be at the ready to help its residents and businesses with any mold problems that might arise.
